Ronnie Fields is a former professional basketball player who was known for his exceptional athleticism and high-flying dunks. He was born on June 13, 1976 in Chicago, Illinois. Fields gained national attention during his high school career at Farragut Academy in Chicago, where he was a standout player alongside future NBA star Kevin Garnett.

Despite being highly recruited by colleges, Fields' career was derailed by a car accident during his senior year of high school, which left him with a fractured neck. He was able to recover and went on to play college basketball at a junior college before transferring to Bradley University.

Fields went undrafted in the NBA but had a successful career playing professional basketball overseas and in various minor leagues in the United States. He also played in the ABA for the Chicago Steam and the Gary Steelheads.
